BBDO North America has hired Matt MacDonald as executive creative director on AT&T.

MacDonald was most recently co-chief creative officer at JWT New York, working on accounts for some of the agency’s most high profile clients including JetBlue, Macy’s, and Diageo.
“The media landscape is changing, our client’s needs are changing, it's a very liquid world now. It's essential we continue delivering forward-thinking ideas to help our clients stay ahead of their competitors,” said David Lubars, chairman and chief creative officer, BBDO North America, on the appointment.
“You accomplish that with the best talent and thinkers."
Lubars also announced that Wil Boudreau, an executive creative director at BBDO New York, will be relocating to BBDO Atlanta to become executive creative director of that agency.
“Relocating Wil to Atlanta is a great way to leverage our talent across the network. Wil’s contributed immeasurably for more than two decades at BBDO New York and his specific experience in the food, financial and retail categories will prove especially invaluable to our Atlanta service offerings,” explained Lubars.
These changes follow last month’s announcement that Greg Hahn had been promoted to chief creative officer at BBDO New York.
MacDonald is scheduled to join BBDO in January while Boudreau will assume his new role next week.
