Brains highlights Wales Rugby Union partnership with ad featuring Sam Warburton, Alun Wyn Jones and Leigh Halfpenny
Welsh Rugby players Sam Warburton, Alun Wyn Jones and Leigh Halfpenny appear on an S.A.Brain & Co. advertising campaign, created to highlight the company’s official ale status with the Welsh Rugby Union.
The poster campaign, entitled ‘Four National Icons’ features the three players, with a pint of Brains acting as the fourth icon.
The campaign will run across 48 sheets and bus backs across Wales, while four S.A. Brain & Co city centre pubs in Cardiff will feature large format banners, and over 650 kits having been sent out containing fixture posters, magic 8 posters and banners.
Press ads will also run to promote SA Gold and The Rev. James in the sports sections of The Telegraph and The Times respectively each weekend during November, with the SA Gold advert using the strapline ‘All Beers Have Heads, Only Ours Have Brains’ while the Rev. James advert will focus on the brand’s heritage.
