The Real Adventure has announced the appointment of Ian ‘Batesy’ Bates as its board creative director, joining from Indicia.

Having spent four years at Indicia, Bates (pictured middle) will take up his position at the Bristol CRM agency from December and will be charged with building the agency’s creative reputation.

Bates said: “The Real Adventure is a hidden gem, a passionate group of talented people delivering high quality, innovative CRM for an enviable range of clients. This is a team that's producing outstanding work for the likes of Danone, Cow & Gate and Walkers and I'm honoured to become part of it.

"This is a very exciting challenge and I believe that we can make the agency famous.”

He will join the board of the Creston Group-owned agency with the aim of blending his creative knowledge with the data and technology it offers.
