Jack Daniel’s releases short film featuring close-up stories of its whisky-making town and residents
Jack Daniel's has unveiled a short film from Arnold Worldwide, ahead of a public screening at the annual Indie Memphis Film Festival this week.
Titled ‘Independent Lynchburg’, the short documentary-style film features up-close stories behind nine people and a five-member band all hailing from the town famed for the Jack Daniel’s whiskey. It details fun quirks about the community, where everyone is usually known only by their nickname.
The film is being hosted on the Jack Daniel’s website as part of the brand’s story. A short blub from the brand explains: “People know Lynchburg, TN, as the place where each and every drop of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is made. Yet, few know about the interesting men and women who live in this otherwise anonymous town. In the first-ever short film from Jack Daniel’s, we took a closer look at the truly fascinating and independent spirits who call this place home.”
