Alder Hey Children’s Hospital unveils celebrity campaign with Big Communications
Alder Hey Children's Hospital has launched its Land of Remarkable People appeal, with the aim to raise £30m to fund life-saving equipment and research facilities.
The campaign, created by Big Communications, begins with a radio campaign across Real, Smooth and Classic FM, and is supported by PR and social media.
Celebrities such as John Bishop, David Morrisey and Beth Tweddle have so far become involved in the campaign.
Director of charity at Alder Hey, Clare White said: "We have been totally overwhelmed by the fantastic reception that the Remarkable People campaign has received. All the great work and effort will hopefully now be rewarded in donations."
This original launch stage is set to be followed by direct mail, online advertising and a brand video.
