Facebook has told partners not to expect auto-play video adverts to be rolled out until 2014.
Sources told All Things D about the product not being expected to roll out in the next few months, despite original predictions that the advertising format would be unveiled during the summer of 2013.
It is believed that Facebook wants to make sure that the video ad format will not disrupt users when it is brought in.
The auto-play ads are expected to be 15 seconds.
