Infographic: Telecom, retail and electronics top industries for social customer demand

Telecom is leading the way in terms of the number of tweets and Facebook posts made by customers on social media, research from Socialbakers has found.

The Q3 Socially Devoted report discovered that telecoms brands received 36 per cent of both Facebook and Twitter comments, while retail came second, receiving 16 per cent and 15 per cent respectively.

Telecoms as an industry ranked third in terms of its Socially Devoted response rate, behind finance and airlines.

Socialbakers found that an elite 10 per cent of brands are handling the vast majority of questions on Facebook (85 per cent) as well as on Twitter (89 per cent).
