Angry Birds magazine catapults onto store shelves

Publisher Egmont have announced that they are readying a magazine Angry Birds spin-off for release in the UK later this month, targeted at 6-9 year olds.

The launch edition sports a range of Halloween themed articles; including a new Angry Birds Zombies game and cartoon, masks and an opportunity to design a zombie pig.

Spread across 44 pages the title incorporates a pull-out comic and includes a giant poster, sticker sheet, trading cards and Angry Birds Mini Clay Buddies.

Siobhan Galvin, Publisher, Egmont UK Ltd commented: “We’re really excited to be bringing Angry Birds to life on the newsstand. The brand has a massive awareness with children globally and we’re thrilled to be launching this quality package celebrating the piggies and birds in multiple territories.”

Angry Birds magazine will be released on 23 October priced £3.99 and follows the release of a series of Angry Birds joke books, a search and find title and press out and play book.
