Children’s app Alpha Zoo launches on Kickstarter
Alpha Zoo, a new children’s app that helps kids to learn the alphabet, has been launched on Kickstarter by creatives Gareth Hopkins, Stuart Jackson and Jon Severn.
The mobile app, developed in Unity, utilises 3D modelling and animation technology to help bring each letter to life.
Alpha Zoo rewards children for their progress through the alphabet, with a new animal and rhyme revealed for every letter unlocked.
The hope is a successful Kickstarter campaign will enable extra functionality to be built into the app – including a name creator using the Alpha Zoo typeface.
