Vogue appoints Kate Moss as contributing fashion editor
Kate Moss has been named by British Vogue as the magazine’s contributing fashion editor in an appointment orchestrated by the magazine’s editor, Alexandra Shulman.
Moss will make her debut in the spring edition of the fashion bible although she is no stranger to its pages, having appeared in no less than 33 covers and innumerable inside pages in her time.
Working alongside Vogue’s existing editorial team Moss will work with her own choice of photographers and models.
Shulman said: “I am absolutely delighted that Kate is going to work with us in this new role. Her undoubtedly brilliant sense of style, depth of fashion knowledge, and understanding of what makes a wonderful image will be exciting to see used in the pages of British Vogue. I am really looking forward to working with her on ideas.”
Vogue had a circulation of 200,608 between Jan and Jun whilst its website garnered 2,172,672 unique users.
