Ticketscript, the digital ticketing company, has announced the sale of its 10 millionth ticket as it surpasses £200m in total ticket sales.

The sales milestone was achieved following a recent rebrand of the firm, first launched back in 2006, which helped the company generate 3.3m ticket sales in the last year alone.

Mobile ticketing played a crucial role too, driving mobile sales up by 121 per cent whilst improved integration with social media drove traffic to the ticketshop via Facebook up by 103 per cent – just as traffic to the site from mobile devices leaped by 248 per cent.

Frans Jonker, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are so excited to announce this milestone at one of our biggest events: ADE. We know our customers are serious about their business and we are extremely proud to provide them with a solution that has allowed them to sell over 10 million tickets – a great achievement.

“We fundamentally believe that if organisers have full control over their data, their events will see an increase in ticket sales, community and revenue. This has been proven as we celebrate this milestone – an incredible achievement over such a short time.”
