WPP has today announced that Simon Bolton, CEO of WPP-owned brand strategy and design consultancy The Brand Union, will also take up the role of CEO for retail and branding consultancy Fitch.

Starting on 1 November, Bolton will expand his current responsibilities to encompass both roles at The Brand Union and Fitch, with both to remain as autonomous networks.

He said: “We have two very successful and complementary networks, both of which have tremendous potential to develop further. My brief is to work with the great talent to sustain the vibrant and distinct cultures in both networks, while also looking for points of collaboration and developing an improved offer for clients.”

Lois Jacobs, who currently holds the role of CEO at Fitch, will now take up the role of global CEO at Landor.
