Online security provider Trend Micro has selected DigitasLBi to handle its pan-European affiliate marketing business.
The marketing and technology agency has been tasked with developing and executing Trend Micro’s affiliate marketing strategy across key European territories, including the UK, Germany and France.
Management of the new affiliate strategy will be handled in the UK by DigitasLBi and Trend Micro, with affiliate teams throughout Europe identifying new markets for expansion.
Jen Brown, senior manager of EMEA online acquisitions at Trend Micro, said DigitasLBi’s “understanding of our business challenges and their clear expertise in affiliate marketing” had impressed, leading the agency to be appointed to handle the account without a pitch. Adding: “We’re looking forward to working together to deliver an innovative affiliate strategy which will help strengthen our presence in Europe.”
Assistant head of performance marketing at DigitasLBi, Jo Thomas, commented: “We’re really excited to be working with them [Trend Micro] to develop a strategy which will further solidify their relationships with affiliates in key markets.”
Trend Micro has also asked DigitasLBi to assist with its mobile offering with the launch of a small business-led initiative.
