Publicis London has announced two promotions to newly created roles: Sophie Payne as new business director and Trent Patterson as head of account management. Both Payne and Patterson were previously deputy heads of account management.

Payne, who has been at Publicis since 2009, will continue to work as business director on clients including SMA while working closely with the Publicis Group UK CMO Patrick Hanson-Lowe.

Meanwhile Patterson, who joined the agency from JWT London in 2010, will oversee the recently won global SCA Hygiene account, having been involved in the pitch process. The account spans 30 countries and includes brands like Plenty, Tempo, Libero, Drypers and Zewa.
