TBWA\Chiat\Day New York has hired James Verrier, former VP of J&M Concepts, as global brand leader of the agency’s Jameson account.

Verrier, who reports, TBWA’s head of account management Leigh Baker, previously served with TBWA as a group account director for Pernod Ricard across Jameson Irish Whiskey and Chivas Regal.

He has returned from J&M where oversaw development and marketing across a brand portfolio including Popcorn Sutton’s Tennesse White Whiskey, Team Real Tree Outdoor Energy and Witherspoon Sweet Teas.

"James has a unique background, building spirits and beer brands on both sides of the Agency/Client world” commented Baker. “In a nut-shell, he knows the business backwards and is the perfect person to lead and foster our relationship globally with Pernod".

TBWA works globally with Pernod Ricard’s portfolio of brands including Jameson Irish Whiskey, Absolut, and Kahlua.
