Blended whisky brand The Famous Grouse has teamed up with AMV BBDO to unveil a kinetic sculpture which responds to peoples thoughts on fame.

A key plank of the brands ‘Be Part of Something Famous’ campaign it is the first in a sequence of campaigns which will draw attention to the brand by engaging with consumers across 20 countries.

This saw the project partners ask people ‘What would you like to be famous for?’ generating thousands of responses, the most interesting of which are incorporated into the sculpture, amongst them; discovering life on another planet, becoming the first one to savour whisky on the moon and getting equal rights for all people.

These messages were then laser cut onto 62 copper plated strips arranged in a giant 5m long spiral piece suspended from the ceiling to show off internal and external reflections.

Marshmallow Laser Feast project managed the enterprise.
