Amazon beats Asos and Topshop to be named most linked-to e-commerce site in UK blogs according to study

Amazon is the most linked-to e-commerce site in UK blogs, according to a study analysing almost 100,000 blogs.

Study: Twingly reports Amazon is the most-linked to site in UK blogs

The report from Twingly picked up a total of 173,715 links to Amazon within blogs, significantly ahead of the nearest competitor Asos, which notched up 24,977. According to the study, in the last 12 months 99,197 blogs linked 363,094 times to UK e-commerce sites.

Mass merchant e-commerce brands were more popular overall among bloggers embedding links into pieces at 55 per cent, with fashion and beauty the next most prominent at 31 per cent and five per cent respectively.

Also making the top 10 most linked-to e-commerce sites in UK blogs were Topshop (16,848), Net-A-Porter (14,422), Forever 21 (14,023), Boots (13,005), eBay (12,602) and New Look (7,351).

Nike was the most-mentioned brand by UK bloggers, followed by Louis Vuitton, Ugg, Gucci, Chanel, Burberry, Michael Kors, Prada, Christian Louboutin and Hermes.
