Crimestoppers has launched a ‘Filthy Rich’ campaign to encourage people to blow the whistle on individuals or businesses they believe benefit from criminal activity.

Campaign: 'Filthy Rich' has launched in London

The campaign was designed by Focus and will run across London billboards, the London Underground, bus shelters and buses, as well as a social media campaign using the hashtag #filthyrich.

Regan Hook, London campaigns manager for Crimestoppers, said: “Those who benefit from the proceeds of crime can rarely resist flaunting it.

“Our ‘Filthy Rich’ campaign is designed to make a clear visual connection between crime and wealth and to help people realise that it’s not acceptable for anyone to live off the proceeds of crime.”

Any members of the public with concerns about criminal activity can contact Crimestoppers anonymously.

The campaign will run throughout the end of September and the beginning of October.
