Criteo has appointed former Dell marketing chief Kathleen Schneider to the newly created role of senior vice president for marketing and communication, ahead of its stock market flotation. The performance display ad firm has not disclosed details on the IPO, only tweeting that it has filed for one (see embedded tweet below), however it has reportedly filed for US $190m. Schneider, who was previously executive director of global channel marketing and programs at Dell, will join the London-based UK team, while the IPO will take place in Washington. She will be responsible for leading leading Criteo’s brand strategy, press communications, and overall marketing strategy. “As Criteo continues to redefine display advertising, it’s an exciting time to be joining the company,” said Schneider. “Marketing leaders want a trusted partner who can provide measurable and optimal return for their ad spend. I am thrilled to be a part of the team of an industry leader in such a rapidly-evolving industry.” During her 14 years at Dell she held a variety of senior roles, with her latter responsibilities seeing her lead a global team responsible for the development and execution of marketing programs to and through the company’s more than 160,000 resellers, distributors, and other partners worldwide.
