LoveFilm co-founder William Reeve set to exit Paddy Power role as head of operations
Paddy Power’s head of operations, William Reeve, co-founder of online movie rental business LoveFilm.com, is to leave the bookmakers.
According to the Sunday Independent, Reeve is to leave his position, based in Ireland, to pursue another opportunity within the UK having joined in the Summer of 2012.
A spokesperson for Paddy Power confirmed Reeve was to depart, explaining that he planned to pursue other “commercial opportunities.”
They added: "Paddy Power is grateful to William for his contribution to the management of the infrastructure of the business and wishes him well in his future endeavours."
Reeve, who co-founded LoveFilm.com in 2003 following a number of mergers, with the company eventually being acquired by Amazon in 2008, is also non-executive chairman of online natural food supplier, graze.com.
