Pinterest has announced that it is launching a bespoke London Fashion Week Hub, giving people behind-the-scenes glimpses into the inspiration for the season’s latest trends.

Burberry is one of the brands which will be pinning its latest line straight from the runway to Pinterest.

Other influencers taking part include the British Fashion Council, Mulberry, Selfridges and Ted Baker.

Clara Mercer, head of marketing for the British Fashion Council, described Pinterest as having an ‘unrivalled fashion following’: “The fashion industry is driven by rich image content and this initiative provides an incredible opportunity for some of the biggest names in British fashion to share insights into their Fashion Week experience. We’re delighted to be involved in showcasing this collection of images to a global online audience.”

The hub will look to provide details inspiring the latest collections, suggestions on how to bring the looks to life and behind-the-scenes access to some of the biggest shows.

Katie Garlinghouse, head of community at Pinterest, added: “Millions of people already turn to Pinterest for their fashion inspiration every day. Our mission is to help people discover the things they love and inspire them to apply these things in their real lives - to translate their fashion inspirations from Pinterest to their own style offline.”

Pinterest first launched a Fashion Week Hub for New York.
