Dean’s, the shortbread manufacturer, is set to launch a brand new TV ad campaign with STV in south west Scotland.

The animated ad, which is set to run throughout Scottish Food Fortnight, tells the story of how Helen Dean began baking shortbread in her Huntly kitchen and how the business has grown to become a global brand.

Dean’s brand manager Siobhan Ingram said: “We’re very pleased to have worked with STV in the creation of this new TV advert. The aim of the advert is to increase brand awareness in the south west of Scotland. The Dean’s brand has a great story to tell and we’re keen to share it - we believe this short animation illustrates perfectly the incredible growth of our brand from its homely origins in Helen Dean’s Aberdeenshire kitchen.”

The ad will run until 22 September.
