Infographic: search, news, and social top uses for tablet, while Android beats Apple
Searching is the top use of tablets in the UK, US, Germany and France, research from Netbiscuits has found, with news being second in all regions except for the US, where games take second place.
The research for Q2 of 2013 found that 63 per cent of the tablet market is Android, with 33 per cent of the market held by Apple: a change from the figures from the same period in 2012, where Apple held 60 per cent of the market, compared to Android’s 38 per cent.
