Former Herald editor Jonathan Russell in new publishing director role at Media Scotland
Jonathan Russell has been appointed publishing director for local newspaper titles produced by Media Scotland, publisher of the Daily Record.

The former editor of The Herald will replace Alan Woodison, who is retiring after 34 years, reports All Media Scotland. Russell left his position at The Herald after two years last October.
The new role will see him responsible for Media Scotland’s local titles, the Paisley Daily Express and the new groups of recently launched freesheets Aberdeen Now, Edinburgh Now and Glasgow Now.
