Following the premier of Breaking Bad, Crimson Hexagon used its ForSight platform to analyse over 1.1 million Twitter posts, with 12 per cent of the conversation from UK consumers expressing gratitude that they could stream the new episode live on NetFlix UK or trying to find out the exact time the new episode would air.

Crimson Hexagon also found that 17 per cent said they could not watch the episode live, and asked other Twitter users to avoid posting spoilers.

The day before the premier, 60 per cent of conversations were in anticipation of the new episode, a figure which dropped to 31 per cent yesterday.

Crimson Hexagon found that almost a fifth (19 per cent) of conversations were from people discussing the fact they are addicted to Breaking Bad, or the addictive nature of the show.

After the episode, 21 per cent said that they live it, and said that they could not wait for the next episode.
