Jell-O has launched a new ad for its chocolate pudding, showing how it makes all the unfair things in life that little bit easier to handle.

Titled ‘Comb Over’, the spot from Crispin, Porter + Bogusky launched began airing across networks today, 12 August.

It shows a little boy asking why his father loves Jell-O pudding. The fathers answer takes the viewer and the son through a day in the life of being a dad; from topical hair loss to the daily grind of commuting to a job with a smug boss.

The ad is part of the ‘Fun Things Up’ activity which has already seen Jell-O transform the FML acronym into something a little more positive and help friends send coded, Jigglevision, messages across Facebook.
