Yahoo has announced it will redesign its 20-year-old logo.

However, ahead of the official unveiling on September 5, the tech giant has decided to “have some fun” by showing a different version of its iconic design on its hompage and across its US network everday for the next 30 days.

“The new logo will be a modern redesign that’s more reflective of our reimagined design and new experiences. To get everyone warmed up, we are kicking off 30 days of change,” it said in an announcement

“It’s our way of having some fun while honoring the legacy of our present logo."

However, from what Yahoo has revealed we shouldn’t expect a drastic change to the design.

“We’ll be keeping the colour purple, our iconic exclamation point and of course the famous yodel. After all, some things never go out of style.”
