Mike Hackett, former managing director and shareholder of Leeds-based Principles Agency, has launched retail marketing agency The Collaborative-Retail Agency.

Hackett starts the agency with Paul Cawthray, former head of production at Principles Agency.

The pair launch the agency with Ronseal, ghd, Northstar Sourcing Group and Schools UK and Jones Lang LaSalle as clients.

Hackett said: “We are a specialist team of results-driven collaborators, offering a creative, hands-on approach. We aim to keep the creative process focused, yet uncomplicated and deliver cost-effective solutions as a result. We have been extremely encouraged by the flow of new business and are in talks with a number of prospective clients. We are planning for controlled growth and hope to expand the business both organically and through strategic partnerships in the future.”

The agency is based in West Yorkshire.
