Golden Mile Exhibitions has selected Manchester-based Brazen to handle PR and social media for its new Blackpool attraction.

The collaborative venture between Golden Mile Exhibitions and the Natural History Museum, the attraction sees the introduction of engaging touring exhibitions to the North West, aiming to show a different side to Blackpool.

Golden Mile Exhibitions will loan and display Natural History Museum exhibitions in its 700sqm space on the main promenade in Blackpool. Currently running at the venue is the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition which will be replaced by Myths and Monsters in September 2013 followed by Ice Station Antarctica in April 2014, which will run for the whole summer season.

Gareth Harold, Golden Mile Exhibitions managing director cited Brazen’s “can do attitude” as the reasoning behind the appointment, adding that he was “particularly impressed with their ability to think creatively and quickly while mindful of our partners and their brand sensitivities.”

Brazen founder, Nina Webb, commented: “Golden Mile Exhibitions is bringing yet another fantastic quality entertainment offer to Blackpool and indeed the North West. We have loads of experience of working within the resort and are excited to be working with these great brands.”

The account will be led by client services director Peter Burling and account director Emma Trimble.
