The Home Office has today unveiled a campaign in six London boroughs warning illegal immigrants to ‘Go home or face arrest’.

Advertising vans will drive around Hounslow, Barking and Dagenham, Ealing, Barnet, Brent and Redbridge, and will inform the public of how many illegal migrants have been arrested in the area along with a number people can text to arrange their journey home.

The campaign is currently being piloted in these six boroughs, which have been chosen because they either have a significantly higher or lower number of voluntary returns.

As well as the advertising vans, the campaign will include posters and leaflets.
