Publicis Groupe promotes Pete Stein to CEO of Razorfish

French communications giant Publicis Groupe has announced the promotion of Pete Stein, president of Razorfish East, to serve as CEO of Razorfish Worldwide as part of a wider shake-up at the digital agency.

Stein will replace Bob Lord in the role, who is moving to AOL Networks, whilst Shannon Denton, current president of Razorfish Central US will become CEO of Razorfish USA.

Meanwhile Rishad Tobaccowala becomes chair of Razorfish and DigitasLB.

Commenting on the appointments Maurice Lévy, CEO of Publicis Groupe, said: “Under Bob’s leadership, Razorfish has become one of the world’s largest interactive marketing and technology companies, and among Bob’s many contributions to the Groupe is the significant depth of talent and leadership he nurtured as CEO.
