Lexus has revealed a film, created using more than 350 photos submitted by Instagram users.

LA based agency Team One worked with Lexus to create #LexusInstafilm for the new 2014 Lexus IS. According to the auto brand, it is the first collaboratively created stop-motion film using Instagram photos.

For the ad, more than 200 Instagrammers joined Lexus at Angel Stadium in Anaheim in California earlier this year.

Team One used 3D mapping to pinpoint where and at what angle each mobile photographer needed to be positioned to capture the right shot at the right moment.

All participating Instagrammers then contributed at least one photo they filtered themselves and uploaded to Instagram with specific hashtags that allowed Team One and Lexus to sequence them together on the same day.
