To mark its 80th anniversary British heritage fashion brand Lacoste has undergone a makeover courtesy of graphic designer Peter Saville.

Saville has created a limited-edition line of polo shirts for Lacoste, replacing its iconic crocodile with a series of design ranging from squiggles to rough outlines.

Available from November, the limited edition range sees Saville reimagine the brands croc logo in 160 different ways – 80 for women and 80 for men.

According to Saville the polo shirts “still look like Lacoste shirts even if they don’t have a crocodile on them”.
