William Greenly and Vanessa Tucker have both joined marketing agency Haygarth in the roles of head of technology and creative group head respectively.

The two new senior appointments follow Budgens and Londis’ decisions to appoint Haygarth as lead strategic and brand marketing agency with a brief covering strategic brand development and below-the-line marketing. Both owned by Musgrave Retail Partners, Budgens has called upon the agency to help drive footfall, customer loyalty and basket spend, with Londis looking to focus on trade marketing and retail recruitment.

“After 10 years with our previous agency we decided to look at other potential partners in the industry. Haygarth has shown a good balance of strategic capability and retail experience and we look forward to working with them to continue to develop the Budgens and Londis brands,” remarked Anna Burleigh, Budgens and Londis marketing director.

As head of technology, Greenly brings over 15 years of development experience having previously worked for AKQA and Tribal DDB. Tucker joins from digital and direct agency CMW, and has almost a decade of experience as an art director working across digital, experiential, print, in-store, outdoor and TV.

Of the hires, Haygarth CEO, Sophie Daranyi, said: “Technology and creativity are crucial components of any successful campaign, and fresh innovative ideas are vital for us to continue to grow as a company and continue to win awards.

"Will’s and Vanessa’s collective experience in their respective fields will be of huge value to our clients and teams – I’m delighted they’ve chosen Haygarth.”
