We take it all back. Hands up. Hampson Hughes Solicitors' first ever TV ad - and Marketing Weak winner, no less - has been nominated for a Media Agencies Collaboration Award at the just-launching MPA Awards in Manchester.

Media Agency Group sent The Drum the equivalent of a 'told you so' press release that trumpeted their MPA nomination as the perfect riposte to our Marketing Weak Award. They informed us that the Group and Global had been recognised for Global's creative and MAG's media planning and buying for the campaign, which features Harvey the ill-fated furry blue dinosaur and his alien friend, Archie.

To the sounds of Herman's Hermits' 1965 song "I'm Into Something Good", Hampson Hughes' personal injury services turn the frowns upside down after Harvey falls down a man hole, allowing him to walk happily away at the end, hand in hand with his yellow alien friend who saved the day with a call on a magic blue telephone which descended from the sky at just the right moment.

Marketing and business development manager at Hampson Hughes Solicitors, Lisa Pearson, said: "Our first television commercial forms an important part of our current growth strategy and is already yielding fantastic results."

Well that's us told.
