No7 to celebrate its heritage on Facebook

On 1 August No7’s Facebook page will step back in time to celebrate the beauty and skincare brand's heritage which harks back to 1935 when it launched in Boots.

Each day from 1 August the page will be reskinned for each decade that the British brand has been helping women to feel good. All-in-all six days’ worth of archived ads, product shots, and logos will feature on the social networking site in the lead up to a new cosmetic campaign.

The activity will be managed by marketing agency OscarMike who have handled the No7 Facebook page since last August.

“It has been a superb opportunity to explore the No7 archive, and see the rapidly changing marketing communications over the last century – from the wife at home to war-time messaging to the modern empowered woman by the make-up she wears.

“We want to thank them in the lead up to No7's new campaign by sharing the No7 archive with them. Some of the adverts are hilarious and very in keeping with sentiments of the time. Our favourite is obviously the deep pearl diver ad of 1969,” commented Charlotte Moss, managing director of OscarMike.
