The Recommended Agency Register (RAR) has reached its 1,000th recommended agency among a 5,000-strong register, with digital agency and Magento development specialist LogicSpot taking the landmark spot.

Founded in 2007, RAR collects data and insights on the agency market, before using that information to help brands make more informed agency decisions.

Steve Antoniewicz, managing director of RAR, Steve Antoniewicz, described the addition of the 1,000th recommended agency as “a major milestone” for the business.

"It's quite a distance from where we started with a small number of respondents and ratings, to over 18,000 ratings on agencies across every marketing service. To have 1,000 agencies recommended means that today we can really provide our clients with breadth and depth in terms of the agency market place."

LogicSpot, which works with brands including MiH Jeans, Sparrow & Finch and Johnson & Johnson. became RAR's 1,000th recommended agency list member on Monday 8 July.

Of the agency, Antoniewicz said: "To have a real specialist digital business like LogicSpot as our 1,000th agency also feels quite apt, because for me that represents everything that's right about our approach. The open process we adopt means that we discover many, many more of the hidden gems. In every category of marketing there are the big dominant players that everyone knows, who are not exactly hard to find. We believe the independents, the boutiques, the start-ups, the agencies without PR, marketing or biz development teams are worth knowing about too."

Mark Haller, managing director of LogicSpot, commented: "RAR seem to be a great partner for us - they are a network or great and trusted companies and it's exciting to be a part of it. Plus the concept of how they operate is not dissimilar to how we have grown so far - through happy clients referring us to their networks of friends, family and acquaintances."

As well as making its growing agency data available to clients online, RAR works directly with brands looking for agency partners.

"We're seeing lots of interest from clients looking for real specialists. Obviously many of the digital disciplines but also in areas like CRM, PR, Design. There's a real appetite from clients to understand an agency's core competencies and fortunately through our data and insights we're able to meet that need,” noted Antoniewicz while highlighting trends in the areas clients are looking for agency support.

He also revealed that RAR was in the process of evolving its online services in order to meet with recent client demand.

LogicSpot's profile can now be viewed on the RAR website.
