Lloyds Banking Group has chosen personalised customer communication services provider Communisis as its outsource partner for the production of all transactional customer communications in the UK.

Effective from August 2013 the ten-year contract sees Communisis assuming responsibility for Lloyds Banking Group current manufacturing sites in Copley and Crawley, with Communisis doubling the annual production volumes for these services.

In October 2012 Communisis is also expected to make significant commitment to the same high-speed colour digital platforms already in-use elsewhere.

Of the appointment, Communisis chief executive, Andy Blundell, said: “This is a huge win for Communisis and we are delighted that Lloyds Banking Group has entrusted us with an outsourcing contract of such strategic significance.

“Over the ten year term, we will work with the Bank to develop its customer communications in order to make them more personalised and more effective through all channels.”
