Gucci reveals AW13 eyewear campaign starring James Franco

Fashion house Gucci has appointed actor, writer and director James Franco as a brand ambassador for its latest eyewear collection.

James Franco will front the AW13 eyewear campaign

Franco will now front the brands AW13 eyewear campaign shot by photography team Mert and Marcus, debuting worldwide in August.

The first shots of the campaign show Franco driving a vintage convertible wearing Gucci’s new Black Bamboo sunglasses which will be available in stores from September.

The actor is also the face of the new Gucci Made to Measure fragrance for men, after being signed as a fragrance ambassador in 2008
