Adidas #AllinforMurray hastag racks up over 20,000 mentions

Two hashtags created by Adidas racked up almost 30,000 mentions during the Wimbledon final on Sunday, with both #AllinforMurray and #Hitthewinner being retweeted by Andy Murray.

The #AllinforMurray hashtag was mentioned some 20,400 times while #Hitthewinner, Adidas’ real-time game, saw 8,500 mentions.

#AllinforMurray received a total of 35,400 mentions during Wimbledon, while #Hitthewinner led to 19,800 mentions, according to Twitter research.

Adidas amplified its organic Twitter activity by using promoted tweets, to help its content reach people actively tweeting about the Wimbledon final.
