BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Colin Murray has revealed he is joining TalkSport to host the 10am-1pm morning slot previously presented by Richard Keys and Andy Gray.

Murray will continue working for the BBC Television and BBC station 6 Music, but is believed to be leaving his programmes on 5 Live, including Saturday morning panel show Fighting Talk.

ā€œIā€™m truly excited about creating this programme, and I hope it will become the morning 'go to' for UK sports fans. I will be joined by fascinating and knowledgeable guests every day offering up different opinions on issues and topics that you want to hear about throughout the week. I have thoroughly enjoyed working on my 5 Live shows and with the BBC team and look forward to continuing my relationship with BBC Sport TV and 6 Music,ā€ commented Murray.

The Irish broadcaster will join TalkSport from Monday 12 August, taking over from ex-Sky Sports presenters Keys and Gray who have recently signed for Al Jazerra.
