Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg missed San Francisco crash flight her friend and Samsung exec David Eun boarded

Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg narrowly missed being on the flight that crash landed at San Francisco airport on Saturday after switching flights at the last minute to air miles for her family’s tickets.

Sandberg re-assured her followers that her friend and Samsung executive David Eun was aboard the Boeing 777 but was fine.

Eun himself – Samsung’s Silicon Valley exec and former AOL and Google employee - posted a dramatic stream of information via Path and Twitter following the crash, which killed two people and injured dozens.Asiana Airlines Flight 214 from Seoul had more than 300 people on board and the cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed.
