Magician Dynamo is set to introduce an exclusive interview with Hugh Jackman and a preview of The Wolverine to UKTV Watch viewers during the channel’s first ever premiere break on Thursday 25 July.

A 30” competition slot, set to run from Saturday 6 July, counts down to the 3’ 30” premiere break and sees Dynamo perform a Wolverine related trick to camera before inviting viewers to tweet a question about the movie to Jackman using the #WatchWolverine hashtag to be in with the chance of winning a trip to Tokyo complete with Samurai and Ninja experiences and £500 spending money.

During the first ad break of Dynamo: Magician Impossible on Thursday 25 July, Dynamo will introduce the exclusive interview from the red carpet of the film's premiere. The premiere break from Channel 4 and Vizeum will be promoted with an additional 10” spot, also featuring Dynamo, on Watch, Dave, Channel 4 and Film 4 from Tuesday 16 July.

“We are really pleased to be collaborating with Vizeum and Fox again to create a really innovative campaign that connects with the target audience for Wolverine,” said Angus Mitchell, Channel 4 agency principle.

Robbie Ashcroft, creative solutions manager at Vizeum, added: “Dynamo’s show is a perfect fit for The Wolverine: thematically and for the target audience. When we discovered he’s a big fan of the franchise it was too good to be true. It gave us the perfect platform to create a truly integrated campaign.”
