Carling British Cider’s first TV advertising campaign will break this weekend featuring the tag line ‘refreshingly perfect’.

The £3m advertising campaign is the third in Carling’s wider series, has been created by Creature and presents one of the new Carling heroes bungee jumping into a bucket of water filled with apples.

Jeremy Gibson, brand director for Carling, said: “The new advert champions our refreshing British humour and sense of fun whilst making a big splash to herald the arrival of a fantastic product that beats the competition on taste and refreshment. Carling British Cider has already won an international award and consumers tell us that the new cider is the most refreshing out there. The new ad celebrates all of this in a way that’s in keeping with Carling’s great advertising tradition.”

The cider brand launch in off-trade in March, with this first campaign set to TV screens this weekend for a month while outdoor, mobile and digital advertising activity will roll out throughout the rest of the year.

Zenith Optimedia was media planner and buyer on the campaign with production by Smuggler.
