General Motors has rolled out a second advert starring Grammy-award winning musician John Legend.

The 90-second ad for the Chevrolet Impala range was developed by Spike DDB and premiered during the 12th Annual BET Awards on Sunday, with 30 and 60-second variations released after the show.

Titled ‘Inspiration,’ the ad sees the musician take inspiration from New York City as he drives the 2014 Impala.

Spike Lee, CEO, Spike DDB, commented: "We at Spike DDB are elated to have had the opportunity to work closely with two greats, John Legend and Chevy. We feel this is a perfect combination between an artist and a brand."

The first ad. ‘Legends,’ aired during the NBA Finals, while two additional Legend-fronted spots, ‘Melody’ and ‘Process,’ will be unveiled later this week.
