Belkin appoints Amsterdam agency LikeFriends to handle digital

American technology company Belkin has announced the appointment of LikeFriends to handle its digital strategy.

The new sponsor of the former Blanco cycling team, Belkin has tasked LikeFriends with developing the campaign to kick off this sponsorship.

Stef de Jong, founder of LikeFriends, said: "Belkin has asked us to further shape their digital marketing activities around the sponsorship and embed this into a broader digital strategy.

"The energy within the company and the enthusiasm that Chet Pipkin, founder and CEO of Belkin, puts into the campaign ideas is great!"

Through the Belkin Facebook page, fans are invited to share why they think they should join the Belkin team as an on-the-ground reporter, with three fans travelling to France in the Belkin van.
