Alec Baldwin went on a rampage on Twitter last night after an article in the Daily Mail accused his wife, Hilaria, of sending tweets during the funeral of Sopranos star James Gandolfini, including messages asking about anniversary presents and smoothie recipes.

In reply to the article, Baldwin tweeted ‘My wife DID NOT use her phone, in any capacity, at our friends [sic] funeral’.

He then threatened to ‘fuck up’ the reporter of the story in the Daily Mail, and sending a series of angry tweets, before deleting his account.
His wife insists that she was not tweeting during the funeral, with suggestions being made that the reporter got the timestamp wrong for the time zone.
This is not the first time that Alec Baldwin has had a Twitter meltdown: in December 2011 he quit the service after being told he couldn’t play Words With Friends on an American Airlines flight.
