TubeMogul announces four new key appointments

TubeMogul has announced four executive appointments, all of which are effective immediately.

Chip Scovic, former head of Google’s media platforms business for advertisers and independent agencies, has joined the company as its new chief revenue officer. Bringing over a decade of experience before Google, Scovic led DoubleClick’s marketer and publisher solutions sales teams and also led sales at Yahoo Video.

“I have watched TubeMogul’s tremendous growth among brand advertisers and their agencies from the sidelines and am excited to now be a part of it,” said Scovic.

Also joining the leadership team is Eric Deeds, the company’s new general counsel, and Daniel Schotland, the new VP of operations and customer success.

Deeds has joined TubeMogul from his previous position as an attorney at DLA Piper where spent a decade working with a variety of clients from venture capital firms to startups, while Schotland, has joined TubeMogul with the aim of leading its global ad operations and client service teams.

In addition, Paul Joachim has been promoted to chief operating officer and chief financial officer after serving most recently as the company’s CRO.

“TubeMogul is growing rapidly and we are pleased to have such strong additions to our executive team,” said the company’s CEO and co-founder, Brett Wilson.

“Chip, Eric, Daniel and Paul are all excellent leaders and I know I speak for the entire team when I say that I am excited to have their help in furthering the company’s position as a leader in digital brand advertising.”
