Pantone, the provider of professional colour systems, has announced that New York design agency Sub Rosa has been selected as its agency of record.

Tasked with developing the 2013 brand strategy, creative direction and production services that will inform Pantone's brand positioning for 2014 and beyond, Sub Rosa will oversee the development of the brand's overarching creative strategy and campaigns, as well as the ongoing production and management of all digital and social channels.

"We are excited to be working with Sub Rosa's talented team to help us drive the Pantone brand evolution and strengthen engagement with our passionate customers," says Giovanni Marra, director of corporate marketing at Pantone.

In addition, Sub Rosa will be working closely with Pantone's leadership team to refine their licensing business offering as well as other expanding business units.

"Pantone is the leading source for designers and a trusted voice of expertise in colour-sensitive industries – from fashion and cosmetics, to technology and photography,” said Michael Ventura, founder and CEO of Sub Rosa.

"Colour is the most powerful and universal communication tool, and we are both honoured and delighted to be working with Pantone."
