Swedish cider brand Kopparberg has unveiled new UK advertising campaign ‘Forest Happenings’, focusing on the brewery’s bestselling flavours – Mixed Fruit, Strawberry & Lime and Pear.

The summer campaign aims to put the refreshment of Kopparberg cider centre stage and links the brand back to the town of Kopparberg and the forest behind the brewery. The creative, from 18 Feet & Rising, begins with a golden light streaming through a clearing in the Swedish forest; within the clearing are towers of ice with frozen fruit inside. As the camera rises it is revealed that these are the fruits used to make Kopparberg cider.

“Despite fierce competition, the brand has just had its most successful sales month ever in the UK, and we firmly believe there is more growth to come… this new campaign will focus on the unique refreshment, flavour and origins of the brand,” commented Rob Calder, head of marketing for Kopparberg.

The summer campaign will run across TV, VOD, outdoor and digital. The initiative is also supported by social media activity and the corresponding #happenings competition coordinated by Manifest London.
